Alberto R. publishes prt.lauttainfo.com and decides how personal data is processed on its Portuguese and English pages. Letters reach him at Travessera de Gràcia 20, 08024 Barcelona, Spain, and email at [email protected]. Nothing on the site asks for your details: there are no user accounts, sign-up forms or comments, and no name, address or payment data is ever requested.
The ads come from Google AdSense, and Google uses cookies or comparable identifiers to show them and count their results. Ads are personalised only when you agree to it. We rely on consent for this, as set out in Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and in Article 5 of Portugal's Law 41/2004 on electronic communications privacy. You can change your mind at any moment, stop personalised ads through adssettings.google.com, or tell your browser to reject cookies from other sites. Any future visitor statistics would use a self-hosted copy of Umami, which keeps only totals and sets no cookies.
To deliver pages, our server and the Cloudflare service in front of it briefly record technical details such as your IP address, browser, the time and the page you asked for. This keeps the site available and filters out abuse, which counts as a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The records are not used to sell anything and are cleared once they have served that purpose.
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction of its use, an objection to it, or its transfer to you in a reusable format. Requests go to [email protected], and we reply within one month. If Google or Cloudflare handle data outside the EU, they do so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or a safeguard of the same level.
You may also complain to Portugal's data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt), or to the regulator in your country of residence. Updated versions of this notice will replace the text on this page.
